Description

Tim McDonough, wearing jersey number 15 is photographed in action while playing football. McDonough was a four-sport star at Lincoln High School and was MVP and team captain of the Abes football team his senior year. After graduating from Lincoln in 1971, he earned all-conference honors in football twice at the University of Puget Sound. As he did with sports, Mcdonugh faced boldly the challenge of having cancer and fought it bravely for over a year. He died of cancer on April 11, 1975. Former UCLA basketball coach John Wooden said it would have been an honor to have coached such an outstanding young man.
