Description

Jess Brooks was a baseball, football and basketball star in the 1930s. Brooks earned 10 varsity letters for the College of Puget Sound (now University of Puget Sound) from 1932-36 after leading Lincoln High School to the unofficial state title in football in 1931. After college, Brooks went on for the Kansas City Monarchs of the Negro League in 1937.
