Description

Altamont McKenzie (3) of the Tacoma Tides dribbles the soccer ball near two teammates and an unidentified opponent during an American Soccer League match at Cheney Stadium in 1976. McKenzie was drafted by the Dallas Tornado of the North American Soccer League. After two seasons with Dallas, he joined the Tides. McKenzie was traded midway through the 1976 season to Los Angeles and helped the Skyhawks win the ASL title. The Skyhawks eliminated the Tides in the Western Division finals.
