Description

Clarence “Mac” McMurtry, the father of two sons who are considered to be among the best boxers to ever come out of Tacoma, stands holding the catch of the day after a day of fishing. Clarence boxed as an amateur and he wanted his sons to box. He got his wish. His sons, Pat and Mike, were inducted into the Tacoma-Pierce Country Sports Hall of Fame for their successful boxing careers. Clarence worked as Pat's promoter throughout his son's professional career.
