Art Popham broadcast minor league baseball games in Tacoma for many years. He also worked as a business columnist for The News Tribune and hosted a talk show on KTAC. When the Tacoma Tigers were on the road, Popham would often recreate the games for broadcast. Popham also worked as public relations director for the Class AAA Tacoma Tigers’ parent club, the Oakland Athletics.
