Description

Duane Lowell gets into his three-point stance while playing football for the University of Washington in 1955. In the fall of 1955, Lowell went to play football at the UW along with four other Lincoln High School teammates. Fellow Abes Luther Carr, Jack Walters, Joe Williams and Dennis Adler joined Lowell on football scholarships. Lowell has been inducted into the Tacoma Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame. He was a two-way starter for the Huskies.
