Former Lincoln High track star Dale Larson practices starting from the blocks in the Lincoln Bowl in 1947 while his coach, John Sharp, fires the starting pistol. Larson went to College of Puget Sound (now University of Puget Sound) where he was a member of the Loggers’ undefeated 1948 team.
