Mike McMurtry goes toe-to-toe with an opponent in the boxing ring. Mike and his older brother Pat were born to box. When their father, Clarence, got married, he told his wife they were going to have two sons and they were both going to box. And both Mike and Pat were successful boxers. They are considered to be two of the best boxers to come out of Tacoma and they are both in the Tacoma-Pierce Country Sports Hall of FameLexicon
