Race winner Bill Roe of the University of Washington, left, clears the second hurdle during the 120-yard high hurdles race against Stanford on April 29, 1967. UW won meet 85-56. Other competitors were Stanford's Bud Walsh (second from left), UW's Dave Williams (second from right), and Bob Wuotila. Williams, a graduate of Tacoma's Lincoln High School, went on to play eight seasons as a wide receiver in the NFL and two more in the World Football League (WFL). Williams was the first player signed by the expansion Seattle Seahawks in 1976 but never played for the team due to a knee injury. He was inducted into the Husky Hall of Fame in 2014.
