Frisco Burnett (left) and Chuck Hamilton smile for a black-and-white photo taken at the 1955 B.P.A.A. National Doubles Bowling Championship. Burnett is considered to be one of the top bowlers to come out of Tacoma. He was inducted into the Greater Tacoma Bowl Association Hall of Fame in 1966, the American Bowling Congress' Hall of Fame in 1969 and in the Tacoma Sports Museum's Hall of Fame in 2008. Burnett and Hamilton teamed up for doubles for many bowling tournaments. Hamilton, who was stationed at McChord Air Force Base in the 1950s, was an avid bowler and wrote a bowling column for 28 years.
