Couples dance at a fun get-together, showing that bowlers could do more than just bowl. Bernice Burnett's husband, Frisco Burnett, was an avid bowler and was inducted into three hall of fames for his accomplishments in bowling. In 1951, Burnett was among the 160 bowlers in the nation who qualified for what was called the World Series of Bowling. He finished in tenth place. By 1959, he qualified eight times for the National All-Star tournament.
