Longtime bowler Jim Stevenson, who was inducted into the Tacoma Sports Hall of Fame for his accomplishments bowling, called Burnett “one of the best bowlers Tacoma has ever known.” Burnett was selected to the All-West Coast team five times and was into the American Bowling Congress' Hall of Fame in 1969.Lexicon
