During Burnett's successful bowling career that began in 1942, he was a four-time selection to the All-West Coast team, an eight-time qualifier for the National All-Star tournament and he was inducted into the American Bowling Congress' Hall of Fame in 1969, seven years after he died in a car wreck in Portland, Oregon.Lexicon
