Frisco Burnett began his successful bowling career in Tacoma in 1942 after watching his wife, Bernice,” bowl in a women's league. His impressive accomplishments include him being an eight-time Greater Tacoma Bowling Association All-Star pick, a five-time Tacoma match-play champ, a winner of the first Western Washington Match-Play Championship in 1955, several national all-star tournaments and two City All-Events championships.
