In 1951, Frisco Burnett was among 160 of the country's top bowlers in the country to qualify for a tournament in Chicago that was called the World Series of Bowling, and he finished 10th. By 1959, he had qualified for eight trips to the National All-Star tournament. He was a four-time selection to the All-West Coast team and he was inducted into the Tacoma Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.Lexicon
