In a black-and white photograph capturing a moment in time, University of Puget Sound’s Dave Lindstrom puts up a long shot against the defense of Nick Nicassio from the University of San Diego during a game at the Daffodil Classic College Basketball Tournament held in 1968 at the UPS Fieldhouse. The classic was the first event for the annual Daffodil Festival that combined and celebrated the cities of Puyallup, Tacoma, Sumner and Orting. The tournament featured four teams, UPS, USD, Pacific Lutheran and Seattle Pacific.
