James Billingsley was one of the original investors back in 1972 in the Tacoma Baseball, Inc. Billingsley, who was a doctor in Tacoma, was the youth activities chairman for Tacoma Baseball, Inc. Billingsley is a pulmonologist in Tacoma who specializes in pulmonary disease and in 2016 was recognized and honored for his 49 years as the Tacoma Fire Department's medical director. Over the years, Billingsley also served on the boards of the Tacoma Twins and the Tacoma Youth Symphony.Lexicon
