This black and orange wool jacket with a Tacoma Rockets patch on the chest was worn by defenseman Joey Johns during the 1948-49 Pacific Coast Hockey League season.
Johns had four goals, 19 assists, 23 points and 117 penalty infraction minutes (PIM) that season for the Rockets.
The Rockets, coached by Murray “Muzz” Patrick, finished second in the PCHL North Division and were eliminated in the second round of the playoffs.
Johns played 321 games for the Rockets from 1946-51.
