Description

Bowling legend Earl Anthony is interviewed by sportswriter Mike Ingraham, who is on the left in the black-and-white photo. Anthony won more national PBA tour titles (41) and more major tournament titles (eight) than any other pro bowler ever. He reached the top five championship round in a record 144 tournaments and in 1982 passed the $1 million mark in PPB earnings. Ingraham worked at the Tacoma News Tribune for 30 years, covering hundreds of bowling tournaments. Anthony and Ingraham have both been inducted into the Tacoma Sports Hall of Fame. Ingraham was a sportswriter for 40 years, 20 years with the Tacoma News Tribune. He covered 20 Tacoma Masters and 20 Tacoma-Seattle Inter-City bowling tournaments.
