Description

A pair of antique, brown-leather figure skating boots. Figure skating was, and remains, a popular sport and was especially a favorite of residents of Lakewood and Tacoma who had the good fortunate to skate at the Lakewood Ice Arena. The ice arena was the entertainment hub from its opening in 1938 until 1982 when part of the building collapsed and the rest was demolished.
