Description

This Tacoma Tigers jersey dates back to the 1947 season, when the Tacoma Tigers posted a record of 72-81, finishing sixth in the Western International league. Competing in the class B WIL, and affiliates to the Chicago Cubs, Tacoma was Lead by Glen Setter, who batted an average of .351, Dick Greco who lead the team in home runs with 21, and, Earl Kuper who had a batting average of .389 and won the league’s batting crown. The white, wool uniform has blue trim, with “Tigers” in a sleek dark blue across the chest. The game worn jersey was worn by an unknown player on the 1947 team, the bottom of the jersey contains authentic wear and tear from being worn in game.
