Description

Defensive back Ray Horton wore these Apex football cleats during the 1992 season with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys won the Super Bowl that season, beating the Buffalo Bills 52-17 in Super Bowl XXVII on Jan. 31, 1993. Horton, a Mount Tahoma High graduate, played for the University of Washington before his NFL career with the Cincinnati Bengals (1983-88) and Cowboys (1989-92). Horton was the No. 53 overall pick by the Bengals in the 1982 NFL Draft. Horton was a three-year starter for the Huskies, playing in two Rose Bowls and earning all-Pacific-10 Conference honors and honorable mention All-American as a junior. He has coached in the NFL with the Washington Redskins, Bengals, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans since 1994.
