A football from the 1940 contest between Pacific Lutheran College (now Pacific Lutheran University) and Gonzaga was donated by Marv and Judy Harshman.
Marv Harshman kicked a 22-yard field goal as PLC upset Gonzaga 16-13 on Nov. 29, 1940 at Lincoln Bowl (described on the program cover as “Tacoma Stadium.”)
Harshman was a key player as Pacific Lutheran won 18 straight games from 1939-41.
