With his ski poles raised high above his head, this skier races down the snow slopes on Mount Rainier with cabins below him. Paradise Lodge used to have a rope tow for skiers and it was a popular place for skiers and sledders. This photo was donated by Richie Nelson, a longtime ski instructor.
