Description

Richie Nelson sits on the ground with his ski class in 1973. Nelson would take the train with his father to Snoqualmie Pass to ski in the 1940s. Hart taught in Europe and across the United State and his recommendations for skies became a selling point for him. In an advertisement, Nelson said, “I have skied the devil out my Harts and they are far superior to other skies that I have used.” In 1999, Nelson received a Skiing Legends Award from the Professional Ski Instructors of America.
