This is a hockey puck autographed by Tacoma Rockets left wing John Varga for the 1991-92 season, the team’s inaugural campaign in the Western Hockey League.
Varga played in 72 games that season, recording 25 goals and 34 assists for 59 points as well as 93 penalties in minutes. Varga added a goal and two assists in four playoff games.
Varga, the No. 119 overall pick by the Washington Capitals of the 1992 NHL entry draft, played for the Rockets from 1991-95 and remained an active player until the 2000-01 season.
