Floyd “Lefty” Isekite was a dominant left-handed pitcher for the Tacoma Tigers in the Western International League in the 1930s. Isekite threw the no-hitter against the Wenatchee Chiefs on July 11, 1937, a 1-0 victory for the Tigers.
Isekite was inducted into the Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame in 1972.
