Description

Auricon 16 millimeter cine-voice sound and film camera, model number CM-72. The CM-72 was able to hold 100 feet of film and featured an induction motor and was designed for single-system filming (recording of picture and sound on the same strip of film and recorded by the same camera). A tag attached to the camera read, “Auricon Cine-Voice, 16 MM sound-on-film camera Model CM-72 RCA licenses Serial No. 31405 60 cycles 15 watts 115 volts Auricon Hollywood Berndt-Bach. Inc. Hollywood, California Made in U.S.A.” On the right side is a gauge to measure film in the camera -- “100 feet 75 59 35 20 10 0 Empty”
