The John H. Johnson President's Award was presented in 1975 to the Tacoma Twins by the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues. The award is presented annually by the Minor League Baseball to recognize the best complete baseball franchise. It is considered the league's top honor. The trophy was awarded to Jim Zarelli, the Tacoma Twins president, and to Stan Naccarato, the vice president and general managers of the Twins. The award is named after John H. Johnson, who served as the MLB president from 1979 to 1988. The annual award was first presented in 1974 and Tacoma won the award twice in 45 years. The Tacoma Tigers also won it in 1982.
