Description

This helmet was worn by Scott Names who attended Stadium High School (Tacoma) in 1932. The helmet is made of leather with black stripes running from top to bottom around the head. On the front of the helmet is the manufacturer logo from the company Rawlings, it has started to fade with age. Scott Names graduated from Stadium High School but spent a few years serving in the Army before playing Basketball at the University of Puget Sound. He lettered four years playing Basketball at UPS and was an all-Northwest AAU selection at the end of his college career. He played basketball well into his life, when he found himself on a team competing in the senior Olympics and one year even winning the senior games.
