Description

Former Curtis High School star Isaiah Thomas went on to play for the University of Washington and the NBA. As a junior at Curtis, Thomas averaged 31.2 points per game and set a state tournament record by scoring 51 points in the state semifinals in 2006. Thomas went on to play for the University of Washington. Thomas made one of the most memorable shots in Pac-12 history, the game-winning jump shot at the buzzer in overtime to beat Arizona in the then-Pac-10 title game in 2011. The two-time Pac-10 tournament MVP was voted honorable mention AP All-America in 2011. He was the 60th and final pick of the 2011 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. Thomas went on to play for the Phoenix Suns (2014-15), Boston Celtics (2015-17), Cleveland Cavaliers (2017-18), Los Angeles Lakers (2018) and Denver Nuggets (2018-present). He is a two-time NBA All-Star (2016-17) and was voted to the All-NBA second team in 2017. His No. 2 was retired by the Huskies in 2018.
