A black cap with the five Olympic rings on the front was worn by Puyallup’s Gertrude Wilhelmsen at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin.
The cap also had a pin with the Olympic rings and “201” with a small ribbons attached.
Wilhelmsen finished seventh in the javelin and eighth in the discus at the Berlin Olympics.
