Description

The Tacoma Tigers team that played in the Western International League autographed this baseball in 1946. In blue ink, “1945” is written in at least two locations, but that is an incorrect date. The donor was the visitor's bat boy. Tacoma's first team in the Pacific Coast League was the Tacoma Tigers, which joined the league in 1904. But after two seasons the team moved to Sacramento and the PCL didn't return to Tacoma for 55 years.
