Description

A small, red hydroplane pin replica of the U19 Coral Reef decals were rare as less than 500 were made by the wives of pit crew members. The Coral Reef (1958-62) was designed and built by Les Staudacher in Bay City, Michigan, and driven by Harry Reeves. The boat was originally named Miss Rocket, after Snell’s Rocket gas stations, and its best finish was second in the annual Seafair race in Seattle.
