Description

A red bowling pennant from 1952 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, shows the names of Ted Tadich, Frisco Burnett, Primo Artoe, and D. Wroten embroidered on the pennant as well as a gold trophy. Burnett was a legendary bowler from Tacoma. He was an eight-time Greater Tacoma Bowling Association All-Star, a five-time Tacoma match-play champion, won the first Western Washington Match-Play Championship in 1955 and participated in several national all-star tournaments. Burnett was inducted into the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame in 1969, the Greater Tacoma Bowling Association and the Pierce-County Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
