Description

Dick Greco used this Louisville Slugger baseball bat to hit home runs while he played for the Tacoma Tigers in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Greco, who was born in Tacoma in 1925 and graduated from Stadium High School in 1943, belted over 300 home runs over 12 years while playing in the minor leagues. He hit over 30 homers in a season five times and he batted over .300 10 of the 12 years he played in the minor leagues. He played parts of four seasons with the Triple-A Tacoma Tigers, but he never played in the major leagues. In 1947, Greco hit .313 with 21 home runs in 133 games for the Tacoma Tigers. The next year he batted .333 with 25 home runs while playing in Tacoma.
