Description

Western International League baseball autographed by members of the 1939 Tacoma Tigers. Under the leadership of Harold Rhyne, the ’39 Tigers finished the year with a 78-63 record to rank second in the Western International League standings. Despite the regular season finish, the Tigers roared through the playoffs to claim the league championship, their second in three years (they would go on to repeat in 1940).
