Here is a white coffee mug with Cubs printed in red and blue on one side and Tacoma Centennial on the other side. It was a celebration of the Tacoma Cubs and the founding of the city of Tacoma. From 1966 to 1971, they were the Tacoma Cubs and were the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs for six years. The Cubs left Tacoma in 1971 and the city's Triple-A team became the Tacoma Twins from 1972 to 1977. In 1969, the Tacoma Cubs won the Pacific Coast League championship and finished the regular season with an 86-60 record. Tacoma became an incorporated city in 1869 and they celebrated their 100th year in 1969.Lexicon
