This gold colored basketball trophy was awarded each year from 1959 to 1997 to the high school that won the 1A state championship. Over the years, there's been plenty of repeat champs, teams that won back-to-back championships. It was a good showing for Lyden in 1991 and 1992 as they won back-to-back championships. Steilacoom was repeat champs in 1984 and 1985. Grandview players were able to raise this trophy above their heads as they won back-to-back state championships in 1989 and 1990.Lexicon
