Description

This helmet was worn by former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna. The helmet is a nice silver with the logo that Seattle used from 1976-2001 on either side. Just above the blue facemask is the word “Seahawks”. The number “7” is printed inside, near the left ear hole, but the helmet is in such great condition that it almost seems untouched. The silver helmet with a blue facemask (as seen here) was worn by the team from 1983 to 2001, matching well with Seattle’s blue home and, white away Jerseys. Jon Kitna attended Lincoln Highschool in Tacoma where he was a standout player in Football, Basketball and Baseball. His hard work earned him a walk-on spot at Central Washington University and the starting quarterback job his freshman year. He saw a long professional career, spending four years with Seattle splitting playing time with former UW star Brock Huard. Kitna left the NFL to play overseas in Europe, where he led the Barcelona Dragons to the World V Championship. Kitna retired as a Dallas Cowboy in 2011 after spending time in Cincinnati as a Bengal, and Detroit as a Lion.
