In this black-and-white photo, from left to right, there's Jan Wolcott, Nash Bishop and Dave Roller, who is wearing a Pacific Lutheran University's 1975 alumni football T-shirt. Wolcott, who was born in 1941, started playing softball back in 1964 and continued to play for the next 40-plus years, playing shortstop, second base and third base. He played basketball at St. Martin's College in Lacey in the early 1960s. Roller also played on a Tacoma softball team sponsored by Dean's Tavern, which was a talented and successful team in the 60s and 70s. That 1975 PLU team Roller was honoring finished with a 7-2 overall record and 6-1 conference record to tie for first place. It was Frosty Westering's fourth season as the Lutes head coach. Frosty coached at PLU from 1972 to 2003.
