Description

Micah Bowie, who autographed this baseball, was a pitcher for the Sacramento Rivercats. This baseball was thrown by Bowie when he pitched a no hitter through seven innings against the Tacoma Rainiers at Cheney Stadium on May 1, 2001. Bowie played professional baseball for 16 years and pitched in the major leagues for six years, playing for five teams. The left-handed Bowie pitched for the Atlanta Braves, the Chicago Cubs, the Oakland Athletics, the Washington Nationals and the Colorado Rockies. Bowie, who was born in 1974, was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the eighth round in 1993.
