A pink-colored, flapper inspired costume is part of the personal collection from Lakewood figure skater Nancy Roberts Palmer. Roberts Palmer was named the Lois Secreto Award for Skater of the Year in 1951 at the Lakewood Ice Arena. Roberts Palmer was a student of John Johnsen, one of the longest tenured instructors at Lakewood. He taught from 1939-41 and again from 1948-68.
