Description

A metal emblem from the Pacific Northwest Archery Association was awarded to Harry “Sonny” Johns who won the Washington/Oregon title in 1939. Johns was a Pacific Northwest champion and the Washington State Archery Association’s Junior Champion from 1937-1940. It was during that time Johns won the 1938 Boys National Archery Association Junior Championship as well. The national association consists of 49 chartered state organizations and nearly 1,000 clubs. Various classes of archery within the association include are bow, freestyle, freestyle limited, freestyle bowhunter, traditional, freestyle limited recurve and crossbow.
