Description

A display of marbles, small glass, multi-colored, two large shooters and a rawhide marble bag with a drawstring were donated by Billy and Jeanne Pitt. Marbles was a very popular game of chance played by children from about 4,000 B.C. played in Rome and ancient Egypt. The game migrated to Europe and the United States, with children playing the game in the streets, playgrounds and in backyards.
