A belt buckle depicts the Junior High Marble Champion award earned by Vernon Keister. Marbles was a very popular game of chance played by children from about 4,000 B.C. played in Rome and ancient Egypt. The game migrated to Europe and the United States, with children playing the game in the streets, playgrounds and in backyards.
