A commutative red, white and blue-striped ribbon depicts a medallion with an etching declaring the winner of the 1940 Marble King tournament. The medal was won by Vernon Keister. Marbles was a very popular game of chance played by children from about 4,000 B.C. played in Rome and ancient Egypt.
