Autographed, black-and-white photo of Dick Greco while he played outfield for the Tacoma Tigers. Greco was one of the best home run hitters for Tacoma as he belted 126 homers for the Tigers from 1946 to 1950. From 1946 to 1957, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Greco smacked 333 home runs in the minor leagues, giving him an average of 33 homers a season. Greco, who graduated from Tacoma's Stadium High School in 1943, had a sensational season in 1950 for the Tacoma Tigers when he led the Western International League in hits (203), total bases (363), home runs (36) and RBI (154). When he was a player-manager for Modesto in the California League in 1956, Greco hit 44 home runs and drove in 162 runs. His career batting average was .327. Despite his sensational stats, Greco, a strong-armed outfielder, didn't make it to the major leagues.Lexicon
