Major League pitcher Felix Hernandez of the Seattle Mariners played for the AAA Tacoma Rainiers while on rehab assignment during his career with the Mariners. Hernandez, who picked up the nickname “King Felix,” pitched in Seattle for 15 years. He has earned six All-Star nods, a no-hitter and a perfect game. For his career, Hernandez has a 3.42 ERA in 419 games, 2,729 innings pitched and 2,524 strikeouts.
