The NHL exhibition game between the Calgary Flames and the Los Angeles Kings was played on September 27, 1983. The Tacoma Dome opened in April of 1983.
The black puck has a white sticker with sponsor Coors in red letters outlined with “First Hockey Game in the Tacoma Dome,” “September 27, 1983” and “Los Angeles vs. Calgary” in black on one side, with “Official Cooper Official” on the other side in black and orange.
